29th of October 2017 was the world stroke day, hope4stroke campaign team started with an endurance walk from Sabo province of the one of the most populous city in the world. The team started the campaign by walking street of Sabo, making the people aware of Stroke and disseminating information on the causes and treatment of stroke, giving hope to the populace on how to live with stroke, the possible symptoms of stroke. Included in the campaign were Doctors, volunteers, who were there to give information to the community and they were accompanied by the Nigeria police force, who were there to ensure safety of the Doctors, volunteers and all participant in the course of the campaign. The campaign team walked through the street of Sabo to the final standing point at ojuelegba.
FREE BP AND BLOOD SUGAR CHECK UP
One of the symptoms of Stroke are high Blood pressure and high blood sugar level.
Other set of Doctors were already setup at the ojuelegba under bridge were there was setup of medical team to check people of the community free of charge and give them advises on health related issues concerning Stoke and early detection.
- The campaign was a success ,with a full turnout of volunteers and Medical doctors
- There was great number of turnout from the campaign, with people of the community coming out in numbers to get checkup.
- There was no violent during the cause of the campaign.
